ABSTRACT
The scientific article deals with new directions in reducing harmful emissions in the exhaust gases of marine engines. For the first time in world shipping practice, a scientific and production company “Eco-Auto-Titan” Ukraine used a fuel oil filter catalyst (FOFC) on the vessels of the “Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company” (the PJSC “UDP”) All research work was carried out by the Danube Institute NU “OMA” with the monitoring and confirmation of the results by Institute for Environment and Energy Conservation (Kyiv).
