ABSTRACT
This publication presents laboratory studies involving the production of fuel from peanut shells, sewage sludge, and waste from used footwear. Under laboratory conditions, energy parameters such as moisture content, ash content, and calorific value were determined for selected fuel components. Based on the analysis of the results, trials were conducted to blend the fuel components in appropriate proportions based on moisture content and calorific value. The fuel obtained in this way was then tested for its energy parameters. This publication presents the results of fuel testing, whose measured parameters enabled the determination of the fuel’s suitability for energy purposes. The results indicate that the fuel has potential for further research into its quality as a waste-based alternative fuel for the cement and power generation industries.
